WELCOME to the new Florida's Eden listserve designed to keep you in touch with what's happening in North Florida. Posterous makes it easy to post and has options that control how you receive messages: automatically, or asa daily digest.   

HOW TO POST:    Send an email to floridalist@posterous.com.  The subject line of your email will be the title of the post. The content of the email will be the body of the post. Any attachment or image within the email will be automatically resized to fit in listserve emails.

WHO CAN POST: Our listserve is a benefit offered to members of Florida's Eden.

Everyone currently on our listserve is invited to post for a month-long trial period. Following the trail period, current Florida's Eden members will continue to be contributors, allowing you to make posts to the listserve.

Those whose memberships are not current will continue to receive listserve postings.  Access to the listserve for posting announcements has always been a benefit of membership in Florida's Eden . . . now it's getting better!

* For the time being, we will repost messages on Posterous that are inadvertently sent to the old listserve and we will send you a reminder to make the switch.  

HOW TO POST AND GET NOTICED:  Just email floridalist@posterous.com and your message will be sent to the listserve.  Here are suggestions for getting noticed:
1) Short informative email subject line: this will help people decide whether to look at your posting or not.

2) Content: make your email short and to the point.  Do not include forwarded headers, email addresses, or extra information.  If you are forwarding an email, please subtract all extra content before posting.

3) Include an image: our system will automatically resize images or formatted emails; stand out with a good image!
